Pavel Kacor’s 90th-minute goal earns Slavia Praha a 2-2 draw at Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahçe drew 2-2 with Slavia Praha in the UEFA Champions League League Stage - 3, after Pavel Kacor’s 90th-minute equaliser changed a home victory into a share of the points.

Kacor’s late intervention

Fenerbahçe made the faster start at Chobani Stadium. Oğuz Aydın opened the scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by Milan Škriniar, to make it 1-0. Mason Greenwood then doubled the lead in the 11th minute, with Nélson Semedo providing the assist for 2-0.

Slavia Praha responded quickly. Lukáš Provod scored in the 15th minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1, and the visitors stayed within reach through the remainder of the match. Their persistence was rewarded in the 90th minute when Pavel Kacor, assisted by Emmanuel Ayaosi, made it 2-2.

An even contest behind the scoreline

Slavia also had more accurate passes, 353 to 341, and a higher expected-goals figure of 1.55 compared with Fenerbahçe’s 1.15.
