Marino Hinestroza scored in the 90th minute to give Vasco DA Gama a 3-2 victory over Corinthians in Serie A at São Januário. The decisive goal completed a dramatic recovery after Corinthians had taken the lead in the second half.

Vasco opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Jose Luis Rodriguez made it 1-0. Gustavo Henrique equalised for Corinthians in the 50th minute, assisted by Breno Bidon, before Matheus Bidu put Corinthians ahead at 2-1 in the 57th minute with assistance from Fabrizio Angileri.
